Toronto FC races to the bottom

The #Toronto FC professional soccer club has enjoyed a solid losing 2012 season as they sit at the bottom of the 19 team league standings with zero points. I think that they have spent too much time asking themselves WWLD or "What Would the Leafs Do?" And the answer is .... lose.
Toronto now sits at zero points or dead last in the Eastern Conference and even the bottom team in the Western Conference has points. On Saturday May 5 the FC hosted DC United where they lost 0-2. MLS noted that "Both sides went into the match aware that they needed to defend better than they have been. United was coming off a 5-3 loss at San Jose on Wednesday. Toronto’s defensive woes were obvious for most of the season with 16 goals against in their first seven games. United did a better job of it."
I dropped by the stadium to see the stands fill with fans hoping for the best and plenty of people cheering for United - some with some giant flags and banners.

Wednesday May 9 will be Toronto's chance to earn some much needed points on their climb to the top as they play Montreal Impact at BMO field in Exhibition Place (8pm). I hope to see you there.
