#Toronto FC beats Montreal Impact

It was a fantastic game as Toronto FC beat Montreal Impact with a score of 2-0 at BMO Field. The mid week game started at 8pm and with the cool weather and chance of rain the crowd was a little thin. With the win Toronto advances to the final of the Amway Canadian Championship. Thanks to Joe Fresh for the tickets.

There was a large contingent of FC fans that occupy the SE corner of the stadium. They stand the entire game waving flags and cheering and jumping in place in support of the home team. A smaller group of Montreal fans was in the NE corner, high in the stands. After the game the police seemed to keep them bottled up in the stands to keep them separated from the Toronto fans.
Plenty of draft and canned beer flowed during the night

I was surprised to see that when the ball was kicked into the stands everyone sent the balls back into the field. What, is MLS too cheep to let people catch the balls that go out of bounds?

See more of the soccer game after the jump.

Plenty of injuries and a few scuffles during the game
