Toronto Syrian Freedom March

The Syrian people have suffered terrible bloodshed as protesters and civilians are targeted by government violence since protesting began in Syria on March 15, 2011. In #Toronto supporters and Syrians marched along Queen St, University Ave, Yonge St and back to Queen Street, ending at Old City Hall on March 17, 2012. The participants marched to remember the thousands who have died and to give hope to those that continue the fight in Syria against the regime of Bashar al Assad.
