TORD: Bout Blanche at the Bunker

It was a night of Toronto versus Hamilton roller derby as the Bout Blanche October 1, 2011 double header rolled into the new Toronto Roller Derby digs at the Bunker in Downsview Park. First up was the TORD Smoke City Betties (black) against the Hammer City Harlots (white). #83 Rug Burn from the Betties at top. Betties take the match 164-75. The games were the Toronto Roller Derby's contribution to the fun and excitement of Nuit Blanche.

Gore-Gore Rollergirls Bambi and former CN Power player, above, joins the full house to watch some of the excitement off the flat track and in the stands. Next up was the TORD superpower team the CN Power (pink) all-stars against the Hammer City Eh! Team (white). Hamilton was decimated 277-22.

See more bout photos after the jump.

It was my first time at the Bunker and it's not bad, not the best, but not bad. The only really bad thing about the place is the amount of pillars that exist in the cavernous building. I guess I miss the Hanger still.
