AD 1881 on Queen Street West

The wild and wolly area along Queen Street West reminds me that Toronto isn't some two bit town started last week, no, this is a town that really started in 1793. I had passed by the John Fluevog store at 242 Queen Street West in September of 2010 - they were weird at the time, and lately just noticed that the store had a section at top where it shows the building was built in AD 1881.
There were still cowboys having shootouts at that time in the American west! The wild west of Queen Street includes the adjacent alleys which are full of graffiti murals.
