Big Tennis in the Square

People stepped up and grabbed gigantic tennis rackets and bounced around the basketball sized tennis ball at Yonge-Dundas Square on Aug 4, 2010. It looked like it would be easier than regular tennis with their tiny rackets and balls but the gigantic equipment had it's own issues.

Last year a couple of the top women tennis players had a game on Yonge Street right across from the Eaton Centre. You can see my photos of Ana Ivanovic and Caroline Wozniaki on the street court here.
Rogers Cup tennis is returning to Toronto from Aug 7th to the 15th of 2010 at York University and the big name they are marketing is Roger Federer who is ranked 3rd in the world. The Cup is offering a free family weekend event on Aug 7 and 8 where you can enjoy free tennis and fun activities.
